Not What I Paid For
Tech was not cordial on either of the two (2) visits. And even though the
company had information on Model of Freezer he came unprepared to test
or troubleshoot. Left saying will order parts and return. HE HAD NO EXPECTATION OF RETURNING AND REPAIRING!
Horrible worst company ever
4 times was my appointment canceled by them 4 times!! !!! Always another excuse, finally I asked for supervisor who was not helpful and left me hanging over 15 min with music until I hang up. Called a day after because there were late again but Manager did not want to talk to me I kept getting excuses why a Manager was not able to speak to me. Next time I have an issue, I think I rather buy a new dryer and have this company do anything. What a horrible, horrible horrible experience.
They are the worst
They came to my house access the job order the parts then gave a runaround for 3 months I had to get a next company to fix my refrigerator I would never use them again and their customer service is horrible
Horrible Communication & Appointment Scheduling – Avoid Goodman Home Solutions
If you’re in Texas, I highly recommend avoiding Goodman Home Solutions. They accept repair requests through Whirlpool but fail to provide reliable scheduling. My appointment was rescheduled on the day of the appointment—pushing it back another six days.
Last year, a repair I needed took three weeks due to unavailable parts and technician scheduling issues. Be prepared to contact customer service multiple times because they will give you every excuse instead of resolving your issue in a timely manner.
Their website once listed corporate team names, but they’ve since removed them—likely to avoid accountability. I will be contacting the BBB and corporate because this company is unreliable but quick to take your money.
Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere for appliance repairs!
Poor Commincations and Parts Department, Great tech
I’ll start off, by saying my technicain himself was fantastic. He did a great job and got everything set up as need be. 5/5 for him.
Everything else? Horrid.
I had a washing machine have an issue, save the fact the issue was because of a poor design flaw, that broke down in december of 2024.
Called out the tech, and he was able to get out there shortly after in the first week of Jan.
He found the issue, and sent the request for the parts.
Here’s where the issues begin.
Let’s start off with the 30 day lead time part that’s “non in stock” despite being sold on nearly every major parts site I could find. The phone rep told me word for word “no sites sell this item and the only location that does is on backorder.” Total crap.
You won’t get an answer from someone in the US btw, they outsource their calls, which is fine, if it worked.
Instead, what I got was a 2 week long process during the 30 day lead time consisting of dozens of calls and hours of wasted time just to get questions and updates on a part that “wasn’t available.” Only to find out that after that long lead time part was ordered and arrived to my technicians house, that I needed a second part. Genius. Who in the world waits for a long lead time part to arrive before placing the order for the second one? This lead to another week delay because this second part according to the people I spoke to, was in stock and would ship same day. Except it didn’t.
I then had to call 5 more times on different days, get lied to by 4 of the 5 reps about when it would ship, only to finally get someone to gurantee the part had shipped after 30 minutes of waiting for a response. Great, all it took was me calling every single day to get someone to do their job.
So all in all, from mid December when my washing machine broke, to today, February 12th, I have had no washing machine. Of which I pay for a warranty to guarantee it’s successful operation. Nearly 3 months… GHS: buy the part elsewhere, send a temporary unit, buy a new unit, communicate something, or anything else that would at least show some level of care. That’s quite literally the reason I have the warranty is to ensure I don’t have too much downtime on my machines.
I work with long lead times, I get it, stuff happens. But when you can find the part on any major retailer site, it’s your job to get that part to your customer. Good job saving a few pennies.
Again, the technician was amazing. He did his job great and did so with a smile despite living hours away.
Everything else? An absolute joke where the punchline is your broken appliance that won’t get fixed in any sense of reasonable time.
GHS and its Polk County Florida tech associate Martin surpassed our expectations.

Your Polk County Florida associate, Martin, was very proficient, polite, concerned, and fully committed to addressing our issues/problems with the dryer. Unlike other tech people sent to us by another warranty repair company in the past, Martin was the only one who painstakingly took the time to disassemble the whole unit and correctly assess the problems inside. He deserves your company’s accolades and respect for manifesting your GHS ethics and professionalism, a rare commodity these days. Giving you less than the stellar five stars would be a disservice, indeed.

I just wanted to let you all know that Ray was fantastic—both in attitude and expertise. He ordered the right parts, returned to fix the oven, and now it works like brand new!

Hector is always so nice and goes out of his way to get the repair taken care of as fast as he can! I would recommend the company to anyone!
Washer Repair
The customer service was excellent, from setting the appointment, to email confirmations and calls to confirm – technician, Oscar, was very knowledgable.
Dryer
Tech had 2 come out 3 times .second time because the issue was still present and he said because he put the part on backwards,he laughed as if that was funny.i had to get a 3rd visit because the issue was still not fixed.and to this present day the issue is worse.i wish i had not let the tech ever touch my dryer.the noise it makes now is absurd! It sounds like a toddler shoe is in my dryer.the tech kept telling me what could be the issue.told me to change my air out take and replace it with the one that doesn’t bend. I am so not pleased with the 1/2 a** work they did.
Save yourself and use someone else
I was connected to Goodman Home Solutions through The Home Depot warranty department. I was impressed that they were able to get a technician out the next day. I was given a timeframe of 8-1. At 12:20 I called as I had not heard from anyone and I had to leave at 1:30. About 20 minutes later the tech arrived, looked at the washer and said he needed to order a valve and another part. One part arrived the following Tuesday. I called on Thursday to ask when they would be back and they said we already had an appt for Friday 8-1 again. Perfect! The tech showed up today, replaced the part, said he ran the washer and everything was good and left. At 2 we attempted to do a load of laundry and received an error code. I called the number at 2:16 to let them know we needed someone to come back and was told she would call him. 3:05 she returned my call and said that the tech was off for the afternoon and they would need to schedule me. The next available appointment was February 3, 10 days from now!!!!! My washer was at least in working condition before they arrived! They also never ordered the second part to fix. Do not use them! They will leave you hanging and they do not care at all.
Washing machine warranty repair
Communication was excellent and they were there when scheduled. Only downside was I told them it is a vacation home and nobody would be there on a certain day. They said it wasn’t an issue but did not go in because nobody was home. We eventually worked out a solution. Although my warranty expires in March it didn’t matter. They repaired the washer with professional technicians. All in all a good experience.
Jamaal is fantastic!
Our refrigerator ice maker broke. We had three different appliance firms come out to fix it (including Bosch themselves) and none of them could work out and fix the problem. Jamaal figured out what was wrong and replaced the broken part. He was super knowledgeable and professional.
Terrible Customer Service
My Maytag washer wasn’t washing. Goodman was supposed to come out January 22nd. I received a text telling me they would be coming out January 28th instead. When I contact them about the change, I told them I needed it as soon as possible because my clothes were wet inside of the dryer, and the dryer lid was locked and I couldn’t get it open. I didn’t want to wait that long because I figured my clothes would become moldy. He said the 28th was the soonest they had. It didn’t matter that I’d already received a notice saying they were coming the 22nd. They said my appointment was between 8 AM and 12 PM. I canceled two appointments and waited for them. At 11 a.m. I called to see when the technician might be coming. They said that he was working on a job and he would be out and give me a call. So I waited till a little bit after 12 and called them again. They assured me that he was still coming and would call me. Around 1 o’clock I called them again. They assured me the technician would call me. He didn’t. At 2 o’clock I was so frustrated that I hadn’t heard from him, so I called them back again And was told he wouldn’t be coming out. Their Customer Service told me that he could tell what’s wrong with my washer and would order the parts. I said you can’t order the parts when you haven’t looked at it to see what’s wrong with it. So I proceeded to tell them just forget it. So I called my warranty company and told them the problem and that I wanted my service fee returned to my charge card and they should not be using this company due to the service that I did not receive.
Frig not making ice.
We have a brand new Kitchen Aid refrigerator that takes a week to fill the ice bin. Called Whirlpool and they sent out Goodman. Well, after multiple no shows and cancellations, always the same excuse that the tech had a personal emergency (6 times!!!) and when they do show they are always late. Tech shows up in pajama pants and tee shirt. Very unprofessional and uninformed. What ever you do dont not use this company. I asked for a manager to call me and of course no one ever calls. Horrible company and customer service.
Beware of credit card policy
They would not give me a schedule until collecting all my credit card information. When we could not schedule a technician to fix our freezer for over five days we decided to call another company. We were billed for an appointment we never scheduled and had to wait several days for “management” to approve a refund. I have never had a company request all the credit card information before scheduling a service.

Would definitely call Goodman’s in the future.
