Knew what the solution was before getting to the washer.
Washer on spin cycle was making loud banging noises. He told me it was probably the plastic discharge hose on walking in the house. Some duct tape and it was fixed. Too bad Maytag has to pay for a warranty repair for an easily fixed design flaw.
