We have a Whirlpool gas oven that has been blowing the circuit breaker. It happens after using the self clean cycle. The repair person told us it was a defect in the design. The heat from the self clean causes the control board to malfunction. We were happy to be told this since we are paying for a service agreement with Whirlpool. Which is a waste of money because it can’t be fixed.

This was an excellent repair. We were informed along the way with updates and all information was accurate. Our Service Technician, Justin, did a rapid troubleshooting and got the necessary repair parts ordered. When he came today, 01/09/2026, he installed then in no time. He gave us information on what to look for and told us together give a call if anything didn’t work properly!!

The technician was very professional and knowledgeable. I will request him for future service (if needed).
